Our expanding team is seeking a Product Engineer to drive and expedite the development of our datacom products. This hands-on position, located at HyperLight’s headquarters, requires close collaboration with our internal design, operations, production, and testing teams to accelerate product development and ensure swift time-to-market. As a Product Engineer, you will actively participate in all product-related discussions and decisions that significantly influence HyperLight's business. Your responsibilities will include:
- Defining component performance requirements and driving optimization in close collaboration with the Design team.
- Leading EVT, DVT, and KGD test development in partnership with the Test team.
- Conducting system-level modeling (e.g., VPIphotonics, Keysight ADS, Interconnect) to ensure our products meet customer expectations, while developing new offerings in collaboration with product line management.
- Monitoring and enhancing product yield in close collaboration with Operations and Production teams.
- Driving continuous improvement in datacom product development processes and documentation.
