We are seeking a passionate Product Engineer I to enhance our dynamic team!
The Product Engineer plays a crucial role in guaranteeing our business success. Key responsibilities include supporting Field Service Engineers (FSEs) and Field Application Scientists (FASs) with technical assistance, authoring and reviewing Best Known Practices (BKPs) for field deployment, and managing the rollout and implementation of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) in the field.
As a Product Engineer (PE), you will be instrumental in training FSEs on best practices and will serve as the main contact for field escalations. PEs are system experts and often collaborate closely with R&D to gain in-depth knowledge of the systems. You will help define problem statements and develop actionable solutions, contributing significantly to Corrective Action Preventative Action (CAPA) plans.
Your Contributions Will Include:
- Testing and validating software upgrades, process flows, and service procedures before their release, including presentations to customer-facing teams to ensure effective field implementation.
- Planning and executing software releases for customer tools to minimize downtime.
- Collaborating closely with software engineering and data operations teams to enhance troubleshooting knowledge and documentation, integration efforts, and software/GUI rollout for pipeline management.
- Monitoring field issues and escalating trends to R&D and Upper Management, utilizing dashboards and analytical reports.
