Role Overview
We are on the lookout for a data-driven and results-oriented Product Manager specializing in Growth & Monetization to propel revenue expansion across our suite of mobile subscription applications.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in pinpointing, prioritizing, and validating product, user experience (UX), monetization, and growth strategies that have a direct and quantifiable impact on revenue. This role operates at the confluence of Product Management, User Acquisition (UA), Monetization, Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), Advertising Monetization, and Business Intelligence (BI).
While direct execution in UA, CRO, or ad operations is not a requirement, the candidate must possess a robust understanding across these domains to effectively define strategies, synchronize teams, and ensure that all initiatives are underpinned by clear financial outcomes and performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Growth & Monetization Strategy
- Analyze app performance, user behaviors, and conversion funnels to uncover monetization and revenue enhancement opportunities.
- Define, scope, and prioritize product and UX initiatives that are geared towards driving revenue, supported by compelling business cases.
- Ensure that all roadmap initiatives are aligned with projected revenue impacts, return on investment (ROI), and specific success criteria.
- Enhance key metrics such as trial conversion rates, user retention, lifetime value (LTV), average revenue per user (ARPU), and overall revenue efficiency.
Ads Monetization (Partial Ownership)
- Have partial ownership over the Ads Monetization strategy across the app portfolio, working in conjunction with Monetization, UA, and BI teams.
- Identify and prioritize product opportunities related to ads (e.g., rewarded ads, interstitials, hybrid free tiers).
- Formulate ad placement and UX strategies that strike a balance between revenue optimization and user satisfaction.
- Evaluate advertising performance metrics (e.g., ARPDAU, CPMs, fill rates) and convert insights into actionable product initiatives.
- Collaborate with external partners (e.g., Google AdMob, mediation platforms) to support region-specific monetization strategies.
- Monitor competitor ad strategies and ensure that insights inform internal roadmap decisions.
Competitive Benchmarking & Market Monitoring
- Establish and maintain a structured daily competitor monitoring process (pricing, onboarding, paywalls, features, ads).
- Collaborate with BI to develop dashboards, alerts, and reporting for market and competitor shifts.
- Transform competitive insights into actionable product and monetization strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Product, UA, CRO, Monetization, and BI teams to align on growth initiatives.
- Translate opportunities into concise, data-supported briefs, hypotheses, and requirements.
- Partner with external stakeholders (e.g., Google, AdMob) to optimize monetization strategies by region and user segment.
