About the Role
We are seeking a visionary Product Manager to spearhead the advancement of Halliday Payments. This pivotal role requires a strategic thinker with extensive payments experience and a proven track record of launching scalable products.
Key Responsibilities
Drive Payment Infrastructure Development: Own the strategic roadmap for Halliday Payments, defining and implementing new features such as enhanced payment rails, innovative transaction flows, geographic expansion, and merchant-centric functionalities that drive growth.
Implement Data-Driven Strategies: Establish and track essential product metrics, leveraging insights from analytics, partner data, and operational metrics to unearth opportunities and inform prioritization.
Conduct Market Research: Engage in customer research, monitor competitive activities, and analyze payment industry trends to generate actionable insights that inform product strategy and positioning.
Facilitate Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering, Partnerships, Legal, and Go-to-Market teams to synchronize objectives, navigate trade-offs, and ensure seamless product launches from conception to scaling.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 4 years in product management, strategy consulting, investment banking, or in high-growth tech/fintech environments, with a demonstrated ability to launch customer-facing products and influence go-to-market strategies.
Payments Expertise: In-depth understanding of the payments ecosystem, including various payment rails (ACH, card networks, wire, RTP), fraud and risk management, regulatory environments, and the nuances of merchant and consumer payment flows. Experience in fintech product development is highly desirable.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities with a data-driven mindset, adept at synthesizing data to inform product decisions and strategy.
