The Role:
We are seeking a skilled Production Manager to help steer our exceptional production team toward delivering the breathtaking storytelling that defines our brand. Sounds like a fit? We would love to connect with you.
Reporting directly to our Associate Production Director, you'll be a part of a dynamic and inspiring production team. Your role will encompass comprehensive production management across a variety of projects, from concept through to delivery, collaborating with prestigious brands worldwide. You'll engage at every stage of the production process, both in our in-house workshop and with a broad network of external suppliers and specialists. Additionally, you'll play a crucial role in mentoring and developing our teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and guide teams to execute multiple large-scale production and fabrication projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and the high-quality standards we uphold.
- Provide consultation and support to Project and Creative teams, empowering them to make informed production decisions.
- Collaborate with the Associate Production Director to effectively manage capacity and workflows.
- Create and relay accurate timelines while scheduling production teams, including carpenters, art departments, and other specialized makers.
- Ensure quality control for both in-house and outsourced production.
- Estimate and budget for numerous bespoke and complex production projects based on visuals and technical drawings.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing suppliers and freelance makers.
- Stay abreast of new materials, suppliers, and processes, promoting innovation and sustainability within the company.
- Handle financial administration, including cost estimation, project spending tracking, creating purchase orders, and timesheet approvals.
- Manage project administration tasks including production, installation, and derigging schedules, as well as materials ordering.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and risk assessments.
- Train and mentor junior staff members.
- Contribute to advancing the company’s vision and objectives.
