About the Role
As the Production Operations Manager, you will facilitate the seamless flow of content throughout various production stages. Collaborating with the Manager of Production Management and other teams, you will ensure that materials transition smoothly from content providers to delivery while adhering to established timelines and quality standards. Your role involves nurturing essential relationships with licensors, ensuring that materials progress through internal and external pipelines efficiently, and meet agreed launch and delivery dates. Additionally, you will direct tasks across multiple teams for our Crunchyroll platform and external distribution agreements, ensuring a cohesive and effective approach across all platforms and partnerships.
This position reports to the Manager of Production Management.
We are seeking candidates based in Tokyo, Japan.
Core Responsibilities
- Coordinate incoming materials for various distribution channels, including Theatrical, Simulcast, Home Video, Global Content Distribution, and EST.
- Engage with licensors globally, particularly in Japan, to facilitate content acquisition.
- Collaborate with external production facilities.
- Work closely with the Content Acquisitions and Brand Management team to confirm and communicate any changes in broadcast and production schedules with licensors.
- Utilize on-prem storage tools and the media asset management system for research to provide up-to-date material information to our teams.
- Communicate changes in delivered material to upstream teams and disseminate information downstream to our operational pillars and fulfillment team, including urgent changes that may jeopardize a content launch.
- Monitor asset progress as they navigate through the supply chain.
