Job Purpose:
As a Production Team Leader, you will spearhead a dedicated production team within our plastics processing facility, ensuring we meet and exceed safety, productivity, and quality benchmarks established by our Senior Management Team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Enforce compliance with Monoworld's Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental policies, employing a zero-tolerance stance against violations and promptly reporting any issues to senior management.
- Drive improvements in safety, quality, productivity, and profitability by fostering team engagement and encouraging innovative suggestions.
- Safely operate works equipment as needed, ensuring all Safe Working Procedures and Works Rules are followed.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of all processes executed by the team, acting as the lead resource.
- Efficiently manage and allocate resources to achieve daily targets, consistently monitoring progress and making necessary adjustments to stay on track.
- Oversee essential housekeeping tasks, ensuring compliance and proactively addressing team members when standards are not met.
- Facilitate the training and development of team members, serving as a coach and leader to enhance performance and conduct.
- Communicate business objectives effectively through Team Briefs, rallying team commitment towards target achievement.
- Ensure proper stock storage and accurate record-keeping.
- Exemplify leadership in Health, Safety, and Environmental practices, setting high standards and promoting a culture of behavioral safety.
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of plant and equipment, ensuring team members are adequately trained and monitored in their roles.
