Reports To: Beverage Manager, Food & Beverage Director
General Purpose: As a Bartender, you will deliver prompt, friendly, and accurate service while crafting high-quality beverages tailored to each guest's preferences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all service protocols and standards.
- Provide exemplary service by preparing drinks that meet established recipe specifications.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of drink names, ingredients, preparation methods, appropriate glassware, and garnishes.
- Familiarize yourself with all wines available by the glass, as well as at least five selections from each category in varying price ranges and styles.
- Have a thorough understanding of specialty beverages, including single malt scotches, cognacs, specialty cocktails, and beer varieties.
- Be knowledgeable about the bar menu and dining room offerings.
- Ensure stock levels are maintained and report any discrepancies during daily inventory.
- Confirm that all patrons are at least 21 years of age.
- Accurately report all income received during your shift.
- Sell beverages responsibly, always prioritizing the guest's best interest.
- Facilitate a seamless service flow between bar and server requests.
- Complete all assigned side work as outlined in the operational manual.
- Punctually report for scheduled shifts, ready to work.
- Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor with both colleagues and guests.
- Keep the restaurant service area clean and organized.
- Assist with tasks as directed by supervisors.
- Follow all sanitation and health guidelines.
