- As the Program Director, you will spearhead planning and implementation activities across Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, overseeing a portfolio of strategically important projects. You will craft project work plans and performance metrics, ensuring timely and budget-compliant execution of activities. Your role will involve coordinating internal and external resources and employing established Process Improvement and Project Management Methodologies. You will engage effectively with all management levels and collaborate closely with managers, directors, and analysts to achieve departmental strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership for an assigned portfolio of projects and initiatives through active engagement with NM Executives and stakeholders.
- Lead project activities including proposal definition, budget formulation, resource allocation, and meeting facilitation.
- Communicate proactively, clearly, and concisely regarding the status of initiatives and performance metrics among team members, NM Executives, and vendor partners.
- Demonstrate knowledge of operational, programmatic, and project goals, recommending solutions that enhance project outcomes.
- Ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery of projects and operational initiatives, successfully executing activation, closeout, and stabilization to meet stakeholder expectations.
- Drive organizational development by enhancing management competence and developing educational, coaching, and mentoring programs.
- Set clear priorities, formulate effective action plans, and anticipate challenges with realistic work goals.
