Key Accountabilities
As a Project Assurance Consultant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our project and programme managers by ensuring compliance with Hitachi's best practices and project governance policies as outlined in the project charter. Your accountability extends to the precise contributions made to projects based on their complexity and size.
Your role includes ensuring adherence to all internal controls and processes, as well as preparing and distributing project reports on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for developing and upholding project management standards and methodologies based on Hitachi's Consensus framework, overseeing the entire project portfolio. Your duties include assisting project teams in maintaining project plans, schedules, and budgets while ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting through the validation of project timesheets.
Facilitating structured delivery models and guiding project teams in best practices will be vital to your role. You will also track project progress, manage risks, and maintain effective communication with stakeholders through well-crafted documentation and presentations.
You will provide direction on the Consensus methodology, support the completion of quarterly QA Review Questionnaires, and ensure all project documentation is current and accessible.
Key Performance Indicators
Your performance will be measured by the effectiveness of governance processes, the accuracy of project reporting, and the adherence to project schedules and earned value reporting.
Key Outputs
You will maintain milestone trackers, up-to-date project repositories, and comprehensive project lists including risks and change requests, contributing to the development of PMO resources.
