As a pivotal member of our team reporting to the Project Controls Manager, the Project Controller will oversee the daily execution of project control functions at all phases of the project lifecycle. This role demands a meticulous focus on maintaining data integrity within our construction management software, including budgets, expenditures, and forecasts, while generating precise financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders. Furthermore, the Project Controller will assist Project Managers with schedule modifications and change management initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the continuous improvement and standardization of project controls at Rising Edge.
- Conduct weekly updates for each assigned project to ensure the accuracy of Hard Dollar (HD) data, including:
- Budget management;
- Cost tracking;
- Variance analysis;
- Cost forecasts (trending analysis);
- Cash flow monitoring.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports, encompassing milestone summaries, earned value analyses, incurred costs, and accruals.
- Comprehend financial terms and conditions of contracts, invoice schedules, and documentation requirements (e.g. Statutory Declaration, Waiver of Claims). Responsible for invoice evaluation and approval.
- Ensure that Hard Dollar & VP projects are established in accordance with contractual agreements and client-provided documentation.
- Review and approve timesheets.
