Your Role as Project Coordinator in Electrical Engineering
You will be working on various airside locations ('behind the fences') where we focus on electrification, replacement and installation of passenger bridges, 400Hz units, and platform lighting. You will oversee the execution of small projects or components of larger, complex projects, ensuring that project objectives are met according to schedule, budget, and safety regulations. Your responsibilities will include:
Leading, deciding upon, and assessing the activities of team members within project execution;
Providing insights into project approaches during preparation and addressing issues arising during execution, leveraging your specific knowledge, skills, or experience;
Ensuring the availability of all necessary resources (such as procedures and work instructions), materials, equipment, and personnel at the right time and place within the project;
Managing and monitoring essential materials, drawings, instructions, etc., required for the work;
Delivering projects and tasks within the established budget and timeline.
Your Qualities as Project Coordinator in Electrical Engineering
You value commitments and are sharp on timelines; you possess foresight within projects. If timeframes become tight, you respond swiftly, prioritize tasks, and utilize your creativity to ensure successful project completion, all while maintaining effective communication. Additionally, we ask for:
MBO+ level of working and thinking, complemented by an electrical engineering qualification; knowledge of civil engineering is a plus;
Several years of experience in a supervisory position leading a medium-sized technical (maintenance) team, preferably in the infrastructure sector;
Familiarity with contract systems like UAV(GC) and RAW is an advantage;
Certificates such as NEN3140, VCA VOL, GPI, Stipel, or a willingness to obtain these;
A Schiphol pass is required for airside work, which includes a security investigation for civil aviation;
Knowledge of materials, equipment, and tools.
