As a pivotal member of TransPerfect, the Project Coordinator plays an essential role in the execution of language and translation projects. This position involves managing projects from inception to completion, and acting as the primary point of accountability for their successful delivery. Project Coordinators oversee the entire lifecycle of assigned projects and are integral to maintaining communication and clarity throughout the process.
Individuals in this role may choose to pursue a career path focused on Project Management, aiming to advance to positions such as Executive or Senior Project Manager, or they may opt for a Management-oriented trajectory, aspiring to become a Team Lead or Department Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the complete lifecycle of all assigned language and translation projects.
Effectively balance multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Comprehend and follow specific project instructions diligently.
Collaborate with sales teams to clarify project specifications and requirements.
Build and nurture strong relationships with contract translators and proofreaders around the globe.
Work alongside quality assurance personnel to ensure that translations meet both instructions and linguistic accuracy.
Promptly communicate any issues, updates, or additional information to the sales team as they arise.
