We are dedicated to advancing commercial and industrial (C&I) solar energy projects, and we seek a meticulous and technically proficient engineer to provide essential support during the project proposal and development phases. Collaborating closely with our sales and design teams, you will help deliver optimized and cost-effective solar solutions tailored to our clients' needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Proposal Development:
- Work in partnership with the sales team to assess client requirements and craft bespoke solar solutions for commercial and industrial sectors.
- Generate comprehensive technical proposals that outline system designs, layouts, equipment specifications, and project cost estimates.
- Conduct initial feasibility studies, including energy yield assessments, to inform project viability.
- Site Assessment and Feasibility Studies:
- Perform on-site evaluations to gauge potential project locations, assessing aspects such as roof structures, shading, and electrical system compatibility.
- Identify site constraints, grid connection feasibility, and associated project risks.
- System Design and Optimization:
- Create preliminary designs utilizing industry-standard tools (e.g., AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope).
- Enhance system layouts, equipment selection, and configurations to meet performance benchmarks, budgetary constraints, and client specifications.
- Prepare single-line diagrams (SLDs), solar PV system schematics, and other necessary documentation for proposals.
- Cost Estimation and Budgeting:
- Develop detailed Bills of Materials (BOM) and accurate project cost estimates.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to source and evaluate materials, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to technical specifications.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Deliver technical support and engaging presentations to clients during the proposal stage.
- Coordinate with internal teams (sales, engineering, procurement, quantity surveying, and project management) to guarantee alignment on project deliverables.
- Regulatory and Compliance Support:
- Ensure that proposed systems adhere to local regulations, safety standards, and grid requirements in Malaysia.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Keep abreast of the latest solar PV technologies, industry trends, and regulatory changes.
- Propose innovative solutions to boost the efficiency and competitiveness of project proposals.
