Project Engineer
Sensia is excited to announce a new opening for a Project Engineer at our well-established office in Malton, Yorkshire. This role presents a fantastic opportunity for individuals seeking a challenging yet fulfilling career path while growing alongside a global leader in the Oil and Gas sector.
The primary responsibility of this position involves interpreting customer requirements and specifications, adhering to applicable standards and accepted engineering practices, and ensuring the timely design and development of Flow Computer, Metering Supervisory Computer (MSC), or PLC programs/configurations as needed. This includes generating all related documentation, peer reviewing, and testing the outputs of team members, specifically for Metering computer and measurement control systems in Oil & Gas applications, with occasional installation and commissioning at customer job sites.
Key Activities and Responsibilities:
Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate assigned engineering tasks to create, review, and comment on contract SDRL documentation as necessary.
Generate project documentation in line with agreed SDRL submission deadlines (e.g., SBD, FDS, ATM, OMM, SAT, I&C Manual, Loop Diagrams, GAs, etc.).
Create or modify Metering Computer/Supervisory configurations based on qualifications and experience.
Oversee engineering and technical execution for smaller projects when solely assigned.
Conduct peer reviews on the outputs of team members to ensure technical accuracy in qualified areas.
