About the Role
The Project Intern for the Africa Health Collaborative (AHC) will play a pivotal role in facilitating health entrepreneurship and community-oriented initiatives across four counties: Nairobi, Machakos, Nakuru, and Kiambu. The intern will assist the AHC project team with essential technical and administrative tasks including training coordination, documentation, monitoring, and logistics, ensuring that project deliverables are met efficiently and on schedule.

You are an aspiring public health or community health expert with a keen interest in enhancing health systems and promoting youth entrepreneurship. You are keen to acquire practical experience in executing impactful projects at both community and county levels.
Your organizational skills are top-notch, and you thrive in managing multiple tasks simultaneously—from coordinating training sessions and meetings to accurately documenting reports and tracking project outputs. You excel in structured environments that prioritize timelines, accountability, and thorough reporting.
You possess a proactive mindset and are eager to take initiative while also being open to guidance from seasoned team members. Your communication skills, both verbal and written, are strong, and you recognize the significance of precise documentation, diligent data tracking, and consistent follow-through.

Key Responsibilities
Project Implementation Support
- Assist in the execution of entrepreneurship training modules and hands-on learning activities.
- Help organize and coordinate workshops, training, and meetings at both community and health facility levels.
- Support the documentation of training sessions, meetings, and workshops, including report preparation.
- Participate in AHC project team meetings and take detailed minutes.
Monitoring, Documentation & Learning
- Assist in tracking project outputs and outcomes.
- Help compile and maintain the project's online training database.
- Document best practices, lessons learned, and success stories.
- Support in preparing periodic activity reports.
Administrative & Logistics Support
- Ensure compliance with financial and administrative procedures for project activities.
- Assist in logistical arrangements for training sessions, meetings, and workshops.
- Support the team in general project coordination tasks.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
