As a Project Manager at Hodess Cleanroom Construction LLC, you will be instrumental in leading cleanroom construction projects from start to finish. Your role will involve ensuring that each project is completed on time, within budget, and adheres to all relevant regulations and quality standards. We seek an individual with exceptional leadership skills, effective communication abilities, and a demonstrable history of successful project management in the construction sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management
- Oversee all daily management aspects of construction projects in collaboration with the Superintendent to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion.
- Engage in pre-construction services alongside the Estimating and Project Team as required, contributing to value engineering discussions appropriately.
- Manage design/build projects by overseeing the scope and timelines of design firms, reviewing and interpreting designs and specifications, and advising on necessary revisions to achieve project objectives.
- Direct and coordinate the construction team to ensure project deliverables are met effectively.
- Verify subcontractor insurance and bonding compliance before project commencement and manage all minority requirements associated with the project.
- Work with internal departments (Estimating, Purchasing & Scheduling) on pricing, scope, manpower, and scheduling to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Collaborate with marketing to create project data sheets, press releases, and maintain a project database, as well as assist in acquiring project visuals.
Client Relations
- Establish and maintain a positive relationship with the Owner and subcontractors, serving as their primary point of contact to address needs and ensure satisfaction.
- Act as the representative of the Company to customers, consultants, subcontractors, and various public or private agencies and organizations.
- Foster positive interactions with Owners and A/E contracts to facilitate project activities and enhance Owner satisfaction.
Team Leadership
- Mentor and develop Assistant Project Managers, fostering a collaborative environment and shared objectives.
- Clearly communicate expectations to your teams and hold them accountable for their responsibilities.
- Support the Superintendent in promoting job site safety and enhance the safety manual as necessary.
