We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the upgrade projects of various gas Pressure Reduction Stations, Above Ground Installations (AGIs), Gas Terminals, and Electrical Sub Stations. The ideal candidate will ensure that project objectives align with both company and divisional goals while meeting client expectations in terms of safety, cost, quality, and overall customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the successful management of projects by attending pre-start meetings, developing strategic work programs, and continuously monitoring progress to meet safety, time, cost, quality, and satisfaction targets.
- Prepare and manage the Project Delivery Plan, making necessary adjustments in collaboration with the Contracts Manager to ensure project timelines are adhered to.
- Oversee all aspects of the project, including design, safety, quality management, resource allocation, and commercial oversight.
- Ensure compliance with contract obligations and manage associated rights effectively.
- Promote a strong culture of health, safety, quality, and environmental management by leading by example and participating in relevant meetings and audits.
- Maintain accurate and compliant HSQ&E reporting within group policies, addressing any concerns promptly.
- Ensure effective team communication and high morale by fostering a strong team ethic and commitment to project goals.
- Support the Contracts Manager in identifying opportunities and risks that could impact the business plan, ensuring United Infrastructure remains a center of excellence.
- Monitor the induction process for all site personnel to ensure compliance and safety.
- Collaborate closely with the Commercial team to align operational and commercial matters effectively.
- Notify and obtain approval from the Client for any work performed outside the contractual scope, and communicate the implications of such changes.
