We are excited to announce an opening for a Project Manager to enhance the team of our client located in Bern. This role involves spearheading two significant initiatives: firstly, a comprehensive overhaul of the software licensing strategy, which includes exploring alternatives to current solutions; secondly, preparing for a new generation of workplace infrastructure aimed at administrative services and educational institutions. These projects require strong analytical skills, close coordination with various internal departments, and a thorough understanding of practices specific to public organizations.
Key Responsibilities
Organize and structure all tasks related to optimizing the licensing portfolio, including inventory management, usage analysis, cost estimation, and comparative studies of alternative solutions.
Guide the execution of a proof of concept to assess tools that could replace existing solutions, and consolidate the results into actionable recommendations.
Conduct analyses necessary to define a future workplace environment: user needs assessment, lifecycle approach, investment scenarios, and financing models.
Develop reference documents to support strategic decisions: business cases, variant comparisons, cost-benefit evaluations, and decision summaries.
Prepare and facilitate workshops with IT teams, procurement, business leaders, and educational units.
Oversee the production of documentation required for public procurement processes, ensuring compliance and quality.
Monitor project timelines, coordinate all stakeholders, and maintain regular communication with management bodies.
Deliver clear and documented reporting that informs decisions and ensures traceability of activities.
