About the job
Join our team as a Provider Partnerships Manager in San Diego, CA, where you will excel in cultivating relationships within medical environments, fostering growth, and facilitating timely psychiatric care for patients. This dynamic role merges proactive business development with account management and field engagement. Your mission will be to connect with medical practices and health systems in your region, educate healthcare providers and their teams about Talkiatry’s offerings, enhance referral success, and drive adoption over time. Expect to be on the road approximately 75% of the time, meeting with providers, nurturing partnerships, and ensuring market success.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
You are an ambitious professional who thrives in fast-paced settings and embraces ownership. Your purpose-driven attitude motivates you to connect providers with essential patient care, and you approach every relationship and challenge with a builder's mindset. As a collaborative and personable individual, you gain energy from in-person interactions and relationship-building rather than desk work. You are competitive in the healthiest sense, inspired by goals, and take pride in being accountable for your results.
About Talkiatry:
At Talkiatry, we are revolutionizing psychiatry by providing accessible, compassionate, and responsible care. Co-founded by a patient and a triple-board-certified psychiatrist, we aim to address the challenges both patients and clinicians face in accessing and delivering the highest quality mental health treatment. Each year, 60% of U.S. adults with a diagnosable mental illness remain untreated due to barriers in care accessibility, while 45% of clinicians find themselves out-of-network due to low reimbursement rates and burdensome paperwork. By leveraging innovative technology alongside a human-centered approach, we empower patients to receive the care they need while allowing psychiatrists to focus on their passion for medicine.
Your Responsibilities:
Develop and enhance relationships with physicians, practice administrators, clinical leaders, and referral networks.
Identify and convert new medical practices into long-term referral partners.
Manage and expand a portfolio of existing accounts, driving growth and maximizing referral potential.
