As a psychiatrist in our High-Specialized Center for Light Intellectual Disabilities Psychiatry (LVB-P), you will enjoy abundant development opportunities in one of the most captivating subfields of psychiatry. Approximately 40% of the EPA clients also have an intellectual disability, thus exposing you to the full range of psychiatric care. The uniqueness of this population lies not only in their challenges but also in the necessity for treatment adaptations, as clients often face difficulties across multiple life areas. This demands a holistic view of the individual, acknowledging both vulnerabilities and strengths to find the right balance and achieve effective treatment. This is where your real challenge lies!
Additionally, as a psychiatrist, you will provide guidance to a psychiatric resident (A(N)IOS), sharing your knowledge and experience. You can also participate in our scientific research on LVB-P and personality issues.
“As a psychiatrist within LVB-P, you have extensive development possibilities and work with an ambitious team and an engaging target group.”
