Join our team as a Public Area Attendant, where your dedication to excellence in customer service will shine. Your responsibilities will include:
• Maintaining a pristine environment by removing trash, refilling amenities, and ensuring clean linens (towels).
• Thoroughly cleaning floors through vacuuming, sweeping, dust mopping, washing, stripping, waxing, and buffing, including shampooing carpets.
• Washing windows, walls, chalkboards, and trash cans to uphold our high standards.
• Dusting furniture, fixtures, and woodwork to keep all areas immaculate.
• Collecting and emptying trash receptacles, and picking up litter around the premises.
• Cleaning and sanitizing toilets and bathrooms, changing shower curtains as necessary.
• Executing specialized custodial functions such as refinishing floors and project cleaning.
• Delivering exceptional customer service in line with the Constance group's standards.
• Addressing guest inquiries and complaints promptly and effectively.
• Conducting checks on all electrical appliances in public areas, including lamps, hand dryers, telephones, mini-bars, TVs, air conditioning, and safes.
• Ensuring all technical elements are functioning, such as door locks and water systems.
• Managing the inventory of pantry and cleaning trolleys.
• Adhering to the dress, appearance, and conduct codes set forth by the hotel.
• Overseeing the progress of trainees, keeping the training Housekeeper informed.
• Upholding Health and Safety practices at all times, reporting any hazards or accidents immediately.
• Signing in and out for keys and performing any other duties as assigned by Management.
