Role Title: QA Engineer — AI Native and Agentic Systems
Location: Remote across India (operating during US Pacific hours)
Type: Full-time
About Zenara Health:
Zenara Health is a forward-thinking technology firm at the forefront of mental health care innovation, committed to enhancing accessibility and quality in mental wellness services. About the Role:
This is not a conventional QA position.
This is not a transitional or maintenance QA role.
We are developing agentic software, and we require QA practices that match the speed, intelligence, and autonomy of our development teams.
You will be responsible for designing and managing an AI-driven QA system that:
- Conducts comprehensive end-to-end testing of complex SaaS products.
- Independently identifies defects (without the need for manual test scripts).
- Emulates the exploratory approach of a new human QA engineer.
- Operates continuously (ideally 24/7).
- Integrates seamlessly with agentic development workflows.
If your understanding of QA primarily involves writing Selenium scripts based on requirements, this position is not a fit for you.
Our Mission
To design and operate an autonomous QA engine that:
- Thinks like a human QA engineer.
- Functions as an AI system.
- Continuously operates without downtime.
- Ensures no defects escape unnoticed.
In our environment, QA is not merely a checkpoint; it functions as a real-time counterpart to development teams until quality assurance is achieved.
Your Responsibilities (End-to-End)
1. Autonomous, AI-Driven QA
Develop AI-based systems that:
- Investigate UIs, APIs, workflows, and edge cases without predefined scripts.
- Automatically generate and execute tests based on product behavior.
- Uncover defects through exploration rather than mere assertions.
- Advance from static automation to self-directed testing systems.
2. Integration of Agentic QA with Development
Construct QA agents that:
- Continuously validate features as development progresses.
- Offer structured, actionable feedback in real-time.
- Engage with development teams until quality benchmarks are met.
- Manage the QA feedback loop as a core component, rather than a manual afterthought.
3. Full-Stack Quality Assurance
