The Role
As a Quality Assurance Analyst II, you will possess a strong foundation in software testing and a passion for delivering top-quality products. In this mid-level QA position, you will take the lead in planning, designing, and executing both manual and automated tests to ensure our public safety applications are functional and stable. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to uphold quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle.
What You Will Do
- Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases and plans based on product requirements and user stories.
- Ensure acceptance criteria for test cases are met.
- Identify, document, and monitor software defects until resolution.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to maintain product quality during the release process.
- Analyze test results, generate reports, and provide insights to stakeholders.
- Maintain and enhance test scripts, frameworks, and automation suites.
- Manually operate drones and test hardware to ensure compliance with requirements.
- Mentor junior QA team members and contribute to the refinement of QA best practices.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support team objectives and departmental priorities.
