Mercoin's QA Engineering Team
The QA team at Mercoin is dedicated to ensuring high quality for our innovative products and services. By combining traditional QA methods with AI-powered testing solutions, we optimize the quality assurance process. Our team's efforts span a wide range of areas, including specification reviews, test planning, execution, bug reporting, and process improvements for web and mobile applications and backend systems.
As a QA Engineer at Mercoin, you will have a broad responsibility for enhancing the overall quality of our products and services, playing a vital role within a small and proactive team environment.

- Tools Used: GitHub, XCode, Android Studio, Playwright, BigQuery, Looker, Datadog, Notion, Slack, Jira, Confluence, TestRail
- Development Methods: Agile (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
- AI Support Tools: Google Gemini, Cursor, ChatGPT, Notion AI, NotebookLM, Claude, Claude Code
Key Responsibilities
- Quality assurance and testing
- Designing test plans with AI integration, driving AI-based test case and code generation, and promoting test automation
- Continuous evaluation and validation of the latest AI tools and techniques for integration into QA processes
- Driving test activities
- Test planning, design, execution, and closure tasks
- Negotiation and coordination with PMs and developers
- Enhancing and automating test efficiency for mobile apps, web, and backend
- Designing and implementing API tests and regression tests, as well as maintenance
- Improvement tasks regarding the entire development process
- Specification reviews and enhancements
