As a Quality Control Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in our production lines and finished products. Your technical understanding and proficiency with technology will be key assets as you perform critical tests and audits. - Adhere to health and safety protocols while conducting tests.
- Maintain cleanliness in the Quality Control area through housekeeping duties.
- Analyze customer rejects and engage in process and root cause analysis.
- Execute all Quality Control tests and audits as directed by management.
- Conduct multiple quality audits throughout your shift to ensure production standards.
- Support production needs as necessary.
- Verify that all testing equipment is properly maintained and operational.
- Conduct various tests on finished products to assess quality within performance parameters.
- Timely creation and distribution of professional defect reports.
- Inspect raw materials when required.
- Reject products not meeting specifications and place questionable items on hold for management evaluation.
- Communicate effectively with other Quality Control Technicians about product quality and status updates.
- Document and assist in training operators on customer quality requirements.
- Complete additional related duties as assigned.
