This role is an Onsite Role: The position requires a full-time presence at our Oxford, North Carolina office.
The Quality Control Technician will be responsible for sampling, inspecting, testing, and determining the final disposition of components and finished goods, in alignment with department procedures and Revlon specifications. The role involves utilizing statistical sampling plans, conducting measurement tests, and applying organoleptic skills for product evaluation. Additionally, the technician will assist in training new employees.
The Quality Control Department supports an active manufacturing facility, where materials are evaluated and inspected both in the QC Laboratory and in the manufacturing environment. Sampling may occur in various areas throughout the facility.
This is a designated 1st shift position, and flexibility to work different shifts and weekends may be required based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sample, inspect, and determine the disposition of components and finished goods according to department procedures and Revlon specifications.
- Collaborate with other departments to obtain necessary standards and specifications for evaluating incoming components and in-process finished goods.
- Document and report data in line with established procedures and Revlon specifications.
- Record final dispositions in SAP.
- Alert appropriate personnel regarding any discrepancies or issues found during inspections.
