Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough root cause analysis of component failures on the manufacturing floor.
- Utilize historical production and quality data to pinpoint opportunities for cost reduction and defect minimization.
- Lead the Quality Lab team in the absence of the Quality Manager.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing projects within the department.
- Oversee the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
- Implement corrective actions in response to customer issues.
- Facilitate quality compliance audits and third-party certification audits.
- Uphold quality and safety standards by establishing and enforcing company policies and procedures.
- Analyze material review processes, control plans, and PFMEAs as necessary.
- Conduct supplier audits and validate corrective actions.
- Perform additional duties as directed by the Quality Manager.
