About the Role
As a Quality Inspector at averydennison in Longford, your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough quality control inspections on the production floor. You will ensure that our products, production processes, and documentation adhere to established procedures. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for in-line quality inquiries, accurately documenting inspection results and supporting essential functions such as line clearance, label approval, and batch documentation checks.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct start-up and in-process inspections, including label approval, control, and reconciliation.
- Inspect and test finished products, components, and incoming materials for final release while meticulously documenting results.
- Generate Non-Conformance Material Reports (NCMRs) and Quality Alerts, coordinate investigations, and collaborate with quality engineers to address Complaints, CAPA, SCARs, and NCRs.
- Manage the issuance of labels and batch records for scheduled orders, ensuring operators receive the correct revisions and quantities to commence manufacturing.
- Support sterilization load inspection and perform environmental monitoring in accordance with established procedures.
- Work closely with various functions to finalize testing and documentation for validation, engineering changes, and new product introductions.
- Facilitate the final release process for outbound shipments by conducting pallet inspections, performing batch record reconciliations, and generating compliant shipping documentation.
