We are seeking a dedicated Receiver/Loader to manage the unloading and loading of incoming and outgoing trailers. This role involves following established standard operating procedures (SOPs) that may include sorting, palletizing, and relocating products to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
What Will Your Responsibilities Include?
- Efficiently unload and load products in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Utilize electric Power Jacks for the movement of pallets and products as required.
- Maintain a positive and supportive attitude towards the company, customers, and colleagues.
- Ensure compliance with minimum accuracy standards and meet delivery deadlines.
- Keep your workspace safe, organized, and clean by adhering to SanMar’s safety regulations.
What Qualities Are We Looking For?
- Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, and effectively identify colors, sizes, quantities, labels, and SKU information.
- Basic math skills for counting and quantity assessments.
- Proven ability to follow directions and adapt to changing priorities and job tasks.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a high-demand, high-volume environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to comprehend verbal and written instructions.
- Essential workdays and overtime may be required.
- Certification as a Lift Operator may be required every three years.
