Position Overview:
The Reconditioning Manager is a supervisory role within our Inspection Center, responsible for guiding a team through daily operations. This position oversees all facets of the vehicle reconditioning process, directing at least five leads and up to 70 frontline associates within a lean manufacturing environment. The Reconditioning Manager is tasked with fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high employee engagement while achieving quality, production, and cost targets.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations within the Inspection Center.
- Provide mentorship and accountability to direct reports, facilitating succession planning through effective coaching, leadership development, training, and performance management.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans, goals, and objectives in alignment with company objectives.
- Ensure compliance with operating standards, systems, policies, procedures, and performance metrics.
- Foster a team environment that promotes positive communication, collaboration, and adherence to Carvana’s core values.
- Recruit, select, orient, and train new employees to maintain supervisory staff.
- Ensure consistent execution of progression path training and certification processes.
- Train and mentor leads and associates by providing constructive, competency-based feedback.
- Assess production capacity levels and assist with production planning to ensure operational efficiency.
- Guarantee compliance with health and safety protocols and loss prevention guidelines.
