As a Reconstruction Project Manager, you will play a vital role in helping individuals and businesses restore their properties following disasters. You will oversee both residential and commercial restoration projects, including fire and water damage, mold remediation, and reconstruction efforts.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee project budgets and manage costs effectively
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with subcontractors
• Recruit and manage subcontractor teams
• Supervise in-house trade staff
• Ensure quality control and enforce safety regulations on job sites
• Develop and manage production schedules
• Drive operational sales and enhance our brand presence
• Collect project payments
• Coordinate with material and resource vendors
• Foster positive customer and tenant relations
• Facilitate ongoing training and development opportunities for team members
Required Qualifications
• Proficiency with computers, mobile platforms, and software tools including MS Office and Google Docs
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
• Proven time management abilities with a track record of meeting deadlines
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills
• Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively
• Capacity to thrive in fast-paced and occasionally high-pressure environments
Emergency Response Responsibilities
• Participate in a 24-hour on-call rotation for emergency responses, with a one-week assignment every six weeks
• Ensure all Field Team members are informed of on-call shift assignments
• Be responsive and available during assigned on-call shifts
• Ensure all on-call Field Team members are reachable during their shifts
Education and Experience Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
• Two or more years in managing repair projects within the insurance restoration sector
• IICRC certifications in Water, Fire, and Mold restoration
• Project Management certifications or training preferred
