Your Opportunity
We are on the lookout for a proactive and dynamic Recruiter and Junior HR Business Partner to become part of our Human Resources Team. This role presents a distinctive chance to engage in various HR functions, encompassing both business partner duties and talent acquisition responsibilities. You will gain invaluable insights by collaborating with HR Business Partners and Senior Recruiters, working closely with leadership across the firm, and enhancing your HR expertise.
The ideal candidate will possess outstanding organizational and relationship-building skills, enabling them to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced, demanding environment while demonstrating professionalism, sound judgment, confidentiality, and a strong client service orientation. Key responsibilities include:
HR Business Partner:
- Collaborating with senior HR business partners on essential talent processes, including promotions, performance evaluations, and compensation management.
- Providing guidance and support for employee career management initiatives.
- Overseeing employee transitions involving relocations, transfers, and internal mobility.
- Facilitating the onboarding and offboarding processes for employees.
- Contributing to cross-functional HR projects to ensure seamless execution.
Campus & Lateral Recruiting:
- Assisting in all facets of the recruiting process for summer internships and entry-level positions across AQR’s business lines.
- Partnering with stakeholders to design and refine our campus recruiting strategy to effectively address hiring needs.
- Regularly engaging with business teams throughout the recruiting season and during lateral searches to support decision-making and offer extensions.
- Managing the day-to-day sourcing and assessment of campus and lateral candidates.
