Position Overview:
The Regional Account Executive will spearhead business development within designated accounts—both new and existing—focused primarily on expanding product offerings across the Mid-Atlantic region (PA, DE, MD, NJ, DC, VA).
The Account Executive is tasked with identifying, promoting, and selling Verint solutions while nurturing strong account relationships throughout their territory. This role involves crafting and executing a strategic account vision, developing tactical plans to meet quarterly and annual sales goals. Additionally, the Account Executive will collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Pre-Sales, Channels, Sales Operations, Product House, and Customer Support, to ensure seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement the company's sales strategies to meet or exceed sales quotas by identifying business opportunities through comprehensive territory management, targeted account prospecting, and profiling.
- Lead regular team meetings, delegating tasks, and ensuring accountability among virtual team members.
- Establish and maintain executive-level relationships, understanding customers' business needs and strategic direction.
- Stay informed about account developments, navigate the political landscape, and manage relationships at all organizational levels while aligning our solutions with their business objectives.
- Oversee and develop the sales pipeline, responsible for closing deals and prospecting within Verint's top accounts.
- Engage with clients at all levels through various communication methods including in-person meetings, conference calls, WebEx, and email correspondence.
- Thoroughly assess customer needs and present effective solutions, leveraging the expertise of regional Solutions Engineers when appropriate.
- Act as a primary contact for customer support issues, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Deliver impactful sales presentations and product demonstrations to assigned clients and prospects.
