Join Chainguard as the Regional Director of Sales, where you'll lead a dynamic team of 5-7 Account Executives in our rapidly expanding organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directly report to the VP of International Sales while overseeing a team of 5-7 Account Executives.
- Drive, manage, and execute the growth and revenue strategies for your sales team.
- Create a collaborative environment that fosters team development, learning, and growth.
- Enhance and streamline processes for Account Executive onboarding and ramp-up.
- Generate forecasts, manage territory and industry accounts, and devise growth plans.
- Establish and monitor key performance metrics to evaluate team success.
- Facilitate alignment with marketing, customer success, BDR, sales engineering, and customer engineering teams.
- Set strategic direction for Chainguard’s largest accounts.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Over 6 years of experience in selling technical products, preferably in open source, DevOps, or security domains.
- At least 3 years of successful management experience leading high-performing software sales teams.
- Familiarity with CSP marketplaces is essential.
- A proven history of not just meeting but exceeding revenue and pipeline targets.
- Experience in selling to Fortune 500 companies and a hands-on approach to challenges.
- Existing enterprise customer relationships within the DACH region.
- Proficient in CRM and marketing automation platforms.
- Adept at exercising sound judgment and adapting creatively to evolving situations; able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Experience navigating periods of growth or hyper-growth.
- Willingness to travel as required.
