Your Role at Axi:
The Regional Financial Controller for India will be responsible for overseeing financial control, statutory reporting, regulatory finance, and financial operations for Axi's entities in India. This role is both strategic and operational, requiring the controller to develop processes from the ground up while ensuring continuous operational excellence. As the senior finance representative in India, you will play a crucial role in our financial success.
Your Responsibilities:
- Financial Control & Reporting: Lead all financial accounting for India entities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial results. Oversee the monthly close process and prepare management accounts and variance analyses for Group Finance. Maintain a robust control environment that aligns with Group policies and internal audit standards.
- Regulatory Finance: Establish and manage the regulatory finance framework for our new regulated entity. Ensure compliance with RBI, SEBI, and other regulatory reporting requirements, including capital governance and periodic filings. Support regulatory inspections and liaise with regulators as necessary.
- Statutory, Tax & Audit Responsibilities: Manage statutory audits, corporate tax filings, GST, transfer pricing, and compliance with the Companies Act in collaboration with external advisors. Oversee payroll-related statutory obligations including TDS, PF, gratuity, and labor law compliance.
- Financial Operations & Process Improvement: Implement efficient financial operations and continuous process improvement initiatives.
