In this pivotal role, you will be the driving force behind profitable growth in our employee benefits division, leading sales initiatives and providing exceptional value to our clients. Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership: Lead the charge in regional employee benefits sales, employing a blend of marketing, sales, and analytical strategies to engage and close business with target customers. Drive new business growth by hiring, managing, and developing a team of sales executives. Participate in sales calls to assist in closing deals and build strong relationships with sales producers.
- Strategic Vision: Develop and implement a clear vision and strategy for the employee benefits sector in the regional office. Translate this vision into actionable annual operational plans, while promoting the discovery of new products, services, and processes to enhance overall performance.
- Client Service & Partnerships: Ensure that our Employee Benefits service model surpasses client expectations and meets revenue retention targets. Review work products to maintain high service standards and cultivate strong relationships with insurance carriers and partners to offer unique benefits that set us apart from competitors.
- Financial Management: Meet and exceed growth and profitability targets for the regional office. Initiate strategies to enhance overall financial performance, including cross-selling opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in sales leadership within the employee benefits insurance sector.
- A strong track record of meeting sales targets and driving business growth.
- Ability to mentor and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strategic mindset with the capability to translate vision into actionable plans.
- Robust relationship-building skills with clients, carriers, and vendors.
