About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Regional Talent Acquisition Partner to spearhead our recruitment initiatives across the Northeast Corridor academy locations. This role merges strategic recruiting with practical execution, ideal for someone who excels in a lively, multi-site environment while recognizing the distinctive staffing requirements of our after-school, weekend, and summer camp educational programs.
Regular travel to our Northeast Corridor campuses will be essential for establishing connections, conducting hiring events, and gaining profound insights into each academy's staffing needs. Additionally, you will engage with local colleges and universities to cultivate recruiting pipelines through career fairs, informational sessions, and campus events. Flexibility for weekend and evening commitments will be necessary to facilitate hiring events and interviews.
Our Northeast Corridor encompasses seven campuses from Boston to D.C., with plans for future expansion. This role is crucial in enhancing and scaling our recruitment operations across the region. As we grow, you will contribute to building the systems, relationships, and talent pipelines necessary for efficient staffing across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Regional Recruiting & Travel
- Regularly travel to the seven Northeast Corridor academy locations (and future sites) to conduct on-site recruiting activities.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute hiring events at academy sites, including open houses, interview days, and meet-and-greets.
- Host informational sessions for potential instructors, teaching assistants, and support staff across various academy locations.
Community Partnerships & Talent Pipeline Development
- Forge relationships with local universities, colleges, parent-teacher associations, and educational programs to source qualified candidates.
- Establish partnerships with teacher preparation programs and alternative certification organizations.
- Serve as the authority on the Northeast Corridor education talent market, including compensation trends, competitor analysis, and candidate availability.
- Understand local commute patterns, neighborhood characteristics, and factors influencing candidate interest by location.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Hiring Execution
- Collaborate closely with academy managers across all locations to identify the traits of successful instructors and support staff at each site.
- Conduct on-site interviews and assessments in collaboration with academy teams.
