Job Title: Registration Authority I
Location: Alexandria, VA

Required Certification(s): DoD 8570 IAT Level II (e.g., Sec+)
The role of Junior Registration Authority (RA) offers entry-level, on-site support as part of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) J6 C4E, facilitating the Department of Defense's Public Key Encryption/Infrastructure (PKE/I) implementation. The incumbent will utilize specialized expertise to assist RA personnel in creating NIPR and/or SIPR PKI tokens and will collaborate with Trusted Agents for token requests, distribution, and PIN unlocking.
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee RA operations in compliance with DoD PKI RA-LRA CPS, DoD Registration Practice Statement (RPS), and internal Joint Service Provider (JSP) procedures to align RA operations with DISA audit standards.
· Deliver outstanding customer support and facilitate knowledge transfer.
· Issue Non-Person Entity (NPE), user, admin, group, role, VIP, and mobile code-signing certificates.
· Assist in the revocation, suspension, and restoration of certificates on both unclassified and classified networks.
· Support the registration and termination processes for RAs and Trusted Agents (TAs).
· Conduct third-party key recovery.
· Be available for off-hours work to address releases and outages.
Qualifications:
· 1-3 years of experience in Information Assurance/Cybersecurity.
· 1-3 years of experience in technical roles focused on DoD or Federal PKI/PKE.
· 0-1 years of experience as a Registration Authority/Key Recovery Agent (RA/KRA) on NIPR and SIPR is preferred.
Certifications Required:
· DoD 8570 IAT Level II (e.g., Sec+).
