About the Role
Join a prominent consulting firm in Abu Dhabi as a Regulatory Compliance Consultant in a short-term engagement. You will play a vital role in advancing regulatory compliance initiatives with a focus on conduct risk management and the implementation of frameworks that comply with local and international regulations.
This position is suited for skilled professionals with extensive compliance knowledge and prior experience with conduct risk frameworks in financial services or consulting settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Regulatory Compliance Support
- Evaluate, refine, and execute compliance policies and frameworks in accordance with UAE regulatory standards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of compliance monitoring strategies and risk assessments.
- Ensure conformity with the latest Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE) and other regulatory benchmarks.
- Conduct Risk Management
- Analyze and reinforce conduct risk frameworks within the organization.
- Examine processes, controls, and reporting systems to promote responsible conduct across all operations.
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to enhance adherence to conduct-related obligations.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Advisory
- Offer regulatory insights and guidance to internal teams and client stakeholders.
- Compile reports and documentation for senior management and regulatory authorities as necessary.
- Facilitate internal training and awareness programs concerning conduct and compliance risks.
Key Requirements
- Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years in regulatory compliance, risk management, or comparable roles within financial services, consulting, or banking sectors.
- Deep understanding of conduct risk frameworks, particularly within the UAE or GCC region.
- Experience in supporting short-term regulatory or compliance transformation projects is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of UAE regulatory standards, especially CBUAE guidelines.
- Experience in conducting gap assessments, drafting compliance policies, and implementing effective compliance controls.
