Your Role
As a per diem Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team providing immediate care in emergency situations where every moment is crucial. You will engage with a variety of cases, collaborating closely with our veterinarians to deliver outstanding, empathetic care. Your responsibilities will encompass triage, diagnostics, treatments, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing, while serving as a reassuring presence for pet owners during their most challenging times. This position is tailored for individuals eager to apply their expertise, further develop their skills, and make a significant difference in the lives of pets and their families.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to every patient and their owners, ensuring they feel supported throughout their experience.
- Act swiftly to deliver nursing care, treatments, and emotional assistance from initial triage to discharge.
- Administer medications and perform critical monitoring tasks, including IVs and CRIs, blood transfusions, and more.
- Communicate effectively with team members, contributing to care plans and maintaining seamless service delivery.
- Be prepared to utilize your CPR training as a RECOVER rockstar, with access to ongoing training and support.
