THE JOB
As a per diem Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician, you will be on the front lines of emergency veterinary care, where every moment is critical. You will handle a variety of cases, ranging from minor to severe emergencies, collaborating closely with our veterinary team to provide gold standard, compassionate care. Your responsibilities will span triage, treatment, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing while offering emotional support to pet parents during their most stressful times. This role is perfect for someone eager to apply their training, enhance their skills, and make a meaningful impact for pets and their owners.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Provide individualized care to every patient and their owner, ensuring they feel supported throughout the treatment process.
- Act swiftly to deliver nursing care, treatments, and emotional support during critical moments, from initial triage to discharge.
- Administer medications and treatments safely, including IVs, CRIs, and blood transfusions.
- Collaborate as a team member, contributing to treatment plans and maintaining continuity of care.
- Perform CPR as a skilled RECOVER-trained technician (we provide the necessary training, and we boast the highest number of RECOVER CPR professionals in the industry).
