Equivity is on the lookout for a skilled and motivated Remote Corporate & Commercial Paralegal to provide essential support to our attorneys in navigating a wide array of business and corporate issues. This includes key tasks related to corporate governance, contract management, commercial disputes, and the handling of confidential business information, trade secrets, and associated intellectual property concerns.
This W-2 remote position offers competitive hourly compensation and the chance to engage with diverse corporate matters in a dynamic, client-focused environment. Ideal candidates will be adept at working independently while upholding high standards of responsiveness and accuracy.
What You’ll Do
Assist with corporate governance tasks, such as entity formation, corporate records management, and preparation of organizational documents.
Draft and review various corporate documents, including contracts, NDAs, confidentiality agreements, and other legal instruments pertaining to proprietary business information.
Support attorneys in commercial litigation matters and business disputes, particularly those involving trade secrets and confidential information.
Facilitate document review, discovery preparation, and case organization for business litigation cases.
Organize and maintain sensitive business records and confidential documents.
Prepare summaries, timelines, and exhibits for attorney review.
Track corporate filings, compliance requirements, and important deadlines.
Manage documentation and files within the firm’s case management systems.
Communicate effectively with attorneys and team members to ensure projects progress efficiently.
Assist in maintaining organized records and ensuring all matters stay on schedule.
About You
Bachelor’s degree is required.
A minimum of 3 years of experience as a corporate, business, commercial litigation, or intellectual property paralegal.
Experience with corporate governance documents and business agreements is essential.
Familiarity with confidentiality agreements, NDAs, and the protection of proprietary business information is beneficial.
Prior experience in assisting with business disputes, discovery, or litigation matters is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe applications.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a remote setting.
A professional home office setup is necessary.
