The Role
- Join our nimble team of innovative builders dedicated to accelerating AI advancements by converting cutting-edge research into impactful products. We serve as the engineering link between fundamental research and its practical applications, driving Google’s most ambitious AI projects. If you are passionate about transforming complex, ambiguous challenges into pioneering solutions in foundational AI and its applications, you will thrive in our environment.
- Current projects include groundbreaking investigations into AGI, focusing on leveraging knowledge and memory to enhance LLMs, and developing foundational AI tools: engineering scalable, reusable libraries and tools for creating advanced AI-driven products.
- Your contributions will involve crafting innovative AI solutions aimed at strengthening AI capabilities:
- Strike a balance between rapid prototyping and the discipline of writing clean, scalable code, adeptly navigating complex problem spaces.
- Utilize Software Engineering and AI/ML principles to address real-world challenges in diverse domains such as search, ranking, deep learning, or large-scale distributed systems (experience in all domains is not required).
- Maintain an intrinsic curiosity and a passion for innovation, eager to learn and implement cutting-edge technologies, including Generative AI, through collaboration with top-tier research and product teams.
