We invite applications for a passionate and innovative Research Scientist to join our Bangalore team, concentrating on enhancing the development of cutting-edge autonomous agents through reinforcement learning and machine learning optimization techniques. Your work will focus on large language models (LLMs) to foster the creation of more robust and capable autonomous agents.
Role Responsibilities
As a Research Scientist at Google DeepMind, you will spearhead the development of novel algorithmic architectures aimed at realizing Artificial General Intelligence.
Your background in leading research at top academic and industrial laboratories—through PhDs, post-docs, or professorships—will enable you to collaborate effectively across various research disciplines, addressing foundational challenges in machine learning and AI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and evaluate models, agents, and software prototypes for large foundational models.
- Advance state-of-the-art reinforcement learning and machine learning optimization methods to construct autonomous agents.
- Communicate research findings and developments clearly and effectively to both internal and external stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
- Propose and engage in collaborative efforts to achieve ambitious research objectives.
- Foster relationships with external collaborators and maintain connections with relevant research labs and key figures.
- Collaborate with our Responsible AI teams to ensure our advancements in intelligence are ethically sound and beneficial to society.
