- Proficient in recording and presenting information clearly and accurately.
- Strong numeracy and IT skills to assist with daily tasks and reporting.
- A comprehensive understanding of the challenges faced by young people in care, with a commitment to their well-being and development.
- Upholding confidentiality and adhering to data protection protocols at all times.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to work on weekends and public holidays as part of a rota.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively.
- Comfortable performing everyday household tasks to maintain a nurturing environment.
- Passion for empowering young people to care for themselves and enhance their skills.
- Facilitating the learning of basic living skills, including cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and financial management.
- Promoting educational opportunities and identifying educational needs and gaps.
- Commitment to Equal Opportunities and understanding Health and Safety issues within the home.
- Knowledge of the Children’s Homes Regulations and Standards.
- A solid understanding of Safeguarding, Child Sexual Exploitation, and relevant legislation.
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a dedicated team.
