Your Role at Raising Cane’s:
The Restaurant Leader plays a pivotal role in steering the strategic direction of our restaurant. This leadership position is dedicated to maintaining operational standards and achieving results through the development of our team, alongside driving sales and profit growth. You will be responsible for teaching, modeling, and upholding the culture standards of Raising Cane’s to ensure a cohesive experience for all crewmembers, customers, and partners.
In this dynamic work environment, you will engage in a fast-paced kitchen setting, requiring physical endurance for activities such as walking, standing, lifting, and bending, while also interacting with customers. Your responsibilities will include both indoor and outdoor tasks in varying temperatures, working in proximity to food products and common allergens, and utilizing industrial equipment and commercial cleaning products that necessitate personal protective equipment.
Your Impact and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the financial success of the restaurant, including forecasting and budgeting.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and applicable laws.
- Manage hiring and termination processes for management-level staff, including payroll procedures.
- Develop and maintain work and training schedules for crewmembers.
- Implement performance management strategies for management-level staff.
- Act as the manager on duty, overseeing cash handling and restaurant operations during open and close periods.
- Analyze profit and loss statements and execute strategies to improve financial and operational performance.
General Responsibilities:
- Enforce policies and standards set forth by Raising Cane’s.
- Utilize necessary tools and logs to support shift execution and document results.
- Effectively deploy crewmembers during shifts while providing exceptional customer service.
- Implement reward and recognition programs for restaurant staff.
- Authorize manager-level functions such as discounts and timeclock overrides.
- Maintain cleanliness and operational integrity of the restaurant.
- Achieve and maintain training restaurant status alongside performance metrics.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned.
