Your Role at Raising Cane’s:
The Restaurant Leader plays a crucial role in steering the strategic direction of the restaurant, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering a culture of people development to drive sales and profit growth. This position involves teaching, modeling, and embodying the core values of Raising Cane’s for all crew members, customers, and partners.
The work environment is fast-paced, requiring physical stamina for tasks such as walking, standing, lifting, and bending. It involves customer interaction and may require working in various temperatures, handling food products, and using industrial equipment and commercial cleaning supplies while adhering to safety protocols.
Your Impact and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the restaurant's financial performance, including forecasting and budgeting.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and legal regulations.
- Manage the hiring and termination processes for management-level crew members and oversee payroll functions.
- Create and maintain crew member work and training schedules.
- Develop management-level staff through performance management and coaching.
- Act as the manager on duty, handling opening and closing procedures and cash management.
- Analyze profit and loss statements and devise strategies to enhance financial and operational performance.
General Responsibilities:
- Enforce company policies and standards consistently.
- Utilize necessary tools and logs to support efficient shift execution and document outcomes.
- Allocate crew members effectively during shifts and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Implement the reward and recognition program for crew members.
- Authorize functions requiring managerial approval, such as discounts and time clock adjustments.
- Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness of the restaurant facility.
- Achieve and uphold training restaurant status and meet performance expectations.
- Complete additional duties as required.
