Prior financial or restructuring experience is not a prerequisite for this role, nor will it be a determining factor in our selection process. Successful candidates who demonstrate potential, dedication, and alignment with our company values during the internship will be considered for our Summer 2027 graduate intake.
Key Responsibilities:
This internship provides a distinctive opportunity to explore the intricacies of the financial advisory landscape while expanding your professional network. You will collaborate with a highly experienced team, working on some of the nation’s most high-profile businesses and gaining insight into the lifecycle of distressed companies. Your responsibilities may include supporting insolvency and restructuring advisory engagements.
During your internship, you will:
- Assist team members with data collection and research for ongoing client projects.
- Participate in client and internal meetings, taking notes and summarizing action items.
- Help prepare reports, presentations, and financial analyses.
- Contribute to client-related tasks under the guidance of senior staff.
- Engage with appointees, appointers, directors, creditors, employees, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Familiarize yourself with statutory and Interpath best practice requirements.
- Draft correspondence, including emails, letters, and reports, for external parties such as directors, creditors, and statutory bodies.
