As a Retail Assistant Store Manager at Vuori, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Retail Store Manager in leading our dynamic retail sales team. You will also inspire your team to uphold Vuori's high standards in retail sales and customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering Exceptional Customer Experiences
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure every customer enjoys an unparalleled shopping experience.
- Take ownership of the sales floor and guide the sales team to prioritize customer satisfaction.
- Prepare fitting rooms, assist customers in finding sizes, and provide genuine feedback on product styles and fits.
- Build lasting relationships with customers by engaging them in discussions about product details, new arrivals, and upcoming events.
- Stay informed about trending products and communicate this knowledge to both customers and team members.
Driving Business Success
- Assist in managing daily store operations in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets within a commission-based environment.
- Continuously seek knowledge about the latest trends in fashion and activewear, serving as a trusted expert for customers.
- Lead the team in project completion while maintaining a strong focus on customer experience.
- Communicate inventory needs effectively to align with business objectives.
Exercising Leadership and Ownership
- Support the Store Inventory Lead with product shipment processing and inventory management.
- Work alongside the Retail Store Manager to strategize on daily operations, sales techniques, community engagement, and team administration.
- Guide the team in maintaining daily store operations, including restocking, visual merchandising, and cleanliness.
- Exercise responsibility and adherence to safety protocols during store opening and closing procedures.
- Encourage team members to demonstrate commitment, punctuality, and accountability at all times.
Operational Excellence
- Conduct weekly manual restocks and report to inventory management.
- Perform weekly cycle counts and assist in processing weekly shipments.
- Ensure all store supplies are adequately stocked and request replenishments as needed.
- Manage online returns and defective product shipments to the warehouse.
- Oversee daily restocking and destocking efforts.
- Maintain a clean and organized backroom and storage bins.
- Manage Aloha displays, ensuring they are refreshed and restocked on a weekly basis.
